Busy Times

Seriously, when did life get so busy??? Oh yeah, when we had another baby! There has been so much going on the past couple weeks it's been hard to keep up. Julio has had a full load - auditing a Greek class and traveling to New York for a test that's required for his degree in Colombia. In the meantime we had friends visiting from MN and I was a single mom for 24 hours while he was in New York. Then we enjoyed a quick visit from my parents. So, as you can see, life is full! I have a to-do list that I'm slowly making progress on. This week we're focused on getting a little rest and relaxation. Next week it's off to Minnesota. Then, Aug. 31st starts a new chapter in our lives as I'm back to work part-time and classes at the seminary begin. We are definitely praying for wisdom and energy.

1 month old

That's right, Ben is a month old (actually he's almost 6 weeks). I meant to get these pictures up last week, but it seems like there really isn't much time for anything other than taking care of two boys. We're at least getting out a bit more; today we ventured out to the museum.
Ben is doing great. He's healthy and growing! At his one month check up he weighed 12 lbs 11 ounces...that's a gain of 3 lbs since he was born. No wonder my arms get so tired! He's sleeping more at night (sometimes 4-5 hours) and is really a content baby. He likes to eat! He's starting to coo and we may have seen a smile or two.
