Imparable! (Unstopable)

Yes, Sam has now discovered how to crawl forwards and there is no stopping him. He has to check out everything! He's very good at helping me find those little pieces of paper on the floor...let's just say that life got a little more interesting!

Translation please

So, Sam has really started to experiment with his vocals. Today as I was feeding him, there were the strangest noises coming from his mouth. Translation, anyone??

Our trip to Colombia is only a few weeks away and we are busy getting all the last minute details taken care of and preparing for the various ministries we will lead there. We had a great team meeting and potluck last night!

Hanging out and enjoying each other's company

Too cute

Sorry, but these pictures are just too cute!

4th of July

Julio, Samuel and I spent the Fourth of July in Minnesota, celebrating with family and friends. We drove from Chicago to MN on Friday morning. After 7 hours in a car with a baby, we were glad to have the evening to relax and enjoy a bbq with family. We had lots of yummy food, spent time to chatting and catching up on what's been happening in everyone's life, plus we learned how to play the game "ladders." It was a great way to spend the 4th.

Sam and Sean (Nicole's son)

Saturday and Sunday were busy days of seeing other friends, getting Sam's 7th month portraits taken (they turned out awesome!), going to church, and out to eat. Julio and I even had a date night, thanks to mom and dad who babysat Samuel. I think it had been over a year since we'd been to a movie! We enjoyed our time and Sam enjoyed his time with grandpa and grandma.

Meeting baby Ethan (11 days old) - friend's new baby

Our time in MN always goes to quickly! Now we're back home and taking care of all of the last details for our upcoming mission trip to Colombia! We are so excited about how things are coming together and can't wait to be in Colombia! Please pray for us as there are still lots of details that need to come together.
