Apple Fest

There are so many reasons why I love the fall. I love the changing colors, the crunch of leaves under my feet, the chance to wear a cozy sweatshirt, and the multitude of ways to eat apples. This weekend I got out with the girls to enjoy Long Grove Apple Fest. Despite the fact that it was raining, we enjoyed wandering around the little village, checking out the fun shops, and tasting the wonders of apple donuts and steaming hot apple cider. It was a very refreshing afternoon and once again reminded me what a blessing it is to have such wonderful friends.
