At home with Samuel

As of Friday afternoon, we left the hospital, and are at home with our new baby. We are so extremely thankful for him! He is beautiful and brings us so much joy each day. We are adjusting to life as parents, which means life with very little sleep and very little control over our daily schedule. Katie is recovering slowly from the c-section, and feels pretty good for the most part. We are just savoring the time to be together as a family. We are so thankful that grandma (Katie's mom) is here to help us during this time of transition. Here are some pictures of us at home with Samuel.

Dear Katie & Julio, Samuel Andress is beautiful! Can you believe that God hand-picked you to be his parents! You are his connection to eternity...you have the privielege of intorducing him to Jesus! God Bless you as you begin this great (& sometimes sleepless) adventure of parenthood! Enjoy every minute! Hugs & Prayers!!! Duane & Sheri

So fun to see photos and hear from you. I love the name you have chosen - Samuel Andres - it suits him well and he is adorable! Glad to hear you're adjusting although it can be tough. Santi and I keep thinking about the days ahead and keep wondering when Baby Nathan will make his arrival! Should be soon now! We wish you well as you adjust and will keep praying. I will write more in an email! Love from Quito!
