It was so hard to get out of bed this morning, after a wonderful, relaxing 3-day weekend. We had a lot of fun this weekend, as grandma and grandpa O'Connor came to visit. We enjoyed going out to eat, watching movies, spending Saturday morning downtown walking around Millennium Park, grilling out with friends on Saturday night, church and a wedding on Sunday, and more relaxing Sunday evening. It helped that we had such amazing weather this weekend.
The last time we were with my parents was over Easter, so needless to say, Sam has changed a lot since them. He was the source of much entertainment and laughter as we watched him roll around, and discover how to move in a circle on his tummy, using his hands and arms. I have no doubt that there will be crawling in the very near future. Scary!! It's amazing how much things change, even in the course of a day or two.
Monday, after my parents had left, Julio, Sam and I enjoyed a day downtown! It was a great way to finish off a wonderful weekend.
