Memorial Day Weekend

Finally...a chance to relax and catch up on some much needed rest! Julio finished with his finals and papers on Thurs. night and then we had a three day weekend to celebrate the end of the semester. Julio celebrated by hibernating (sleeping), while Sam and I ran errands and also caught up on sleep.


On Sunday Sam and I both got much needed haircuts and enjoyed the beautiful weather by taking a long walk.


On Mon. (unfortunately the coldest day of the weekend) we took the train downtown and went to Millennium Park. We let Sam run around and check out the giant bean and the open air amphitheater. We had fun despite the chilly weather. That night we had a little bbq and enjoyed time with our friends Mary Lou and Leah Sander.






Tonight we're off to the cubs game to celebrate Julio's b-day (a little early).
