Three day weekends are wonderful!!! This past one was no exception. We had some great family time! There was time to play and time to rest, as well as time to get some projects done that I had on my list. Saturday was our major play day. We went downtown in the morning and met our friends Bruce and Carol, who took Sam and Julio out on their sailboat. Sam often remembers going on Bruce's boat last year and was a little in shock when he found out he would get to go on it again. He was very excited about the life jacket and about the donuts Bruce brought along. The weather was perfect, so since the doctor advised me not to go on the boat (don't know why), I just pulled out my chair and lounged by the shore. It was heavenly.
After the boys got done with their boat ride we walked over to Millenium Park for a little picnic. Seriously, such a great day!
