So, yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound. What an amazing experience! Julio and I were ushered into a room, and within minutes we were looking at images of our baby. The whole process took about 30 minutes and Julio got a better view than I did. After she took all the measurements and checked everything that need to be checked, she took time to go through and show us the various images of the baby. We saw the legs moving, and the arms waving, the spine, the heart, the hands and feet. Unfortunately, for most of the ultrasound the baby was facing inward so the face was hidden. But right at the end, the head turned and we saw the baby open it's mouth as it yawned. It was amazing to see the eyes, and nose and mouth!
One of the first things we found out about our baby was the sex (as it had it's legs spread wide open). So, we are happy to announce that we will be having a baby BOY! Julio could hardly contain himself when he heard the news! So, now comes the task of choosing a name :)
